Carabobo FC won the 2025 Clausura Tournament after beating Academia Puerto Cabello by a minimum 1-0 and winning their way to the Final of the 2025 Venezuelan Football League Season (FUTVE League)

At the Misael Delgado stadium in Valencia and in front of a large crowd, José Riasco scored the winning goal in the 59th minute, which meant the second professional title in Venezuelan football for the garnet team.

In the 59th minute, a committed return led to a duel between José Riasco and Mamadou Mbaye that ended up winning the first, to define head-to-head with the goalkeeper.

With this title, the team led by Daniel Farías secured their ticket to the Copa Sudamericana.

Carabobo FC and UCV FC will compete in the Absolute Final, with a round trip. Between the two, the 2025 champion and the ticket to the group stage of the Copa Libertadores will be decided.
