Caracas authorities presented recreational schedule for Holy Week

The
mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, and the head of
government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, held a press conference
to present the program for Easter 2025, designed for the enjoyment of the population.
According to the information, the schedule will begin on April 13, when “
the Palmeras of Chacao arrive and their palms are blessed”. In addition, the viacrucis will take place on Paseo Los
Próceres at 5:00am.
They also
indicated that for the fourth consecutive year there will be exhibitions of sweets and traditional
games in the Plaza El Venezolano, “we will have the storytelling
on the theme of Jesus, his life and work, his justice process,” said Meléndez.
In the 21
parishes of Caracas, theatrical activities will be held on Thursdays and
Fridays and spas will be adapted for the enjoyment of boys and girls.
They added
that “different sacred concerts will be held to highlight the
cultural and creative value of the Capital City”, and through the
evangelical movement, presentations will be held in different parts of the capital.
