Caracas communes apply for more than a thousand projects for the 21-A Popular Consultation

Through the social network X, the mayor of the Libertador municipality, A/J Carmen Meléndez, reported that Caracas Community Councils applied for 1,847 projects, of which 285 will be chosen by each communal circuit in the next Popular Consultation on April 21.

“This is a historic moment for the organization of Popular Power and for the communes, which have nominated 1,847 projects for Caracas, to choose 285; one for each communal circuit,” Meléndez wrote, while indicating that those chosen will be financed by the Federal Government Council.

He also indicated that the application of the projects was developed in connection with the swearing in of promoters who will participate in the Popular Consultation. Activity that was carried out with the presence of the political team from the 22 parishes of Caracas.

It is important to remember that the above-mentioned event organized by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on March 5 of this year, will have the participation of four thousand 500 communal circuits that are examples of direct, real and leading participatory democracy.
