Caracas FC and Academia Puerto Cabello take over the top of the home runs of the Clausura Tournament

The results of the four games corresponding to the third round of the home runs of the 2025 Clausura Tournament leave Academia Puerto Cabello and Caracas FC as leaders of each group after the first round.

Academia Puerto Cabello leads the Quadrangular A with 9 points. While the Avila Reds have 7 points and are in charge of Quadrangular B.

For Quadrangular A, Academia Puerto Cabello thrashed Zamora FC 3-0, with a double from Edwuin Pernía in the 31st minute of penalty and 83′ and both from Harrison Contreras at 39', at the La Bombonerita stadium.

For its part, Monagas SC fell 0-1 to Deportivo La Guaira, in the Monumental state of Maturín. The only goal of the game was scored by Anthony Uribe in 81 minutes.

In Quadrangular B, in the parliamentary duel at the Olympic stadium in the capital city, Caracas FC defeated Metropolitanos FC 3-2.

The winning goals were scored in the first half and they did it: Ángel Figueroa at 3′, Michael Covea at 6′ and Jeriel De Santis at 40′. While the discount was achieved: Jeizon Ramírez at 66′ and Jaiver Giménez at 80′.

Meanwhile, the match played at the Misael Delgado stadium in Valencia, Carabobo FC equaled 1-1 with Deportivo Táchira. Jean Castillo scored for the visit at 51′ and Matías Núñez scored for the local penalty shootout at 76′.
