Caracas FC beat La Guaira and qualified for the Copa Sudamericana group stage

The Caracas Football Club made it to the Group Stage of the Conmebol South American Cup 2025 by beating Deportivo La Guaira by two to zero at the UCV Olympic Stadium, in the capital city.

Deportivo La Guaira dominated the first 20 minutes putting pressure on Caracas. However, in the 23rd minute, Ender Echenique took advantage of a ball at the box door and defined precisely to overtake his team.

In the second half, La Guaira continued to insist and had a chance but his defense gave up space and Echenique took advantage of it at 56′ to score his double and give the victory to the Caracas team.
