Caracas FC of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) reported that it will have to serve a sanction in four of its games in the Apertura Tournament after the incidents of the final phase classic of the last Clausura.
“The first three home games will be played 200 km from the city and behind closed doors,” the Avila club reported on the social network X.
The sanction includes the matches against Metropolitanos FC (date 2), Anzoátegui FC (date 3) and Estudiantes de Mérida (date 6), all of them with headquarters to be defined.
He also indicated that the fourth home match corresponding to matchday 8, to be played against Academia Puerto Cabello, will be played at the Olympic stadium in the capital city behind closed doors.
The reason is because the sanction was imposed by the Council of Honor of the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF), following the incidents of the game against Deportivo Táchira last November in which some fans entered the field of play.
In this way, the red squad will only be able to count on their audience at the UCV Olympic stadium in the matches on dates 10 and 12 against Carabobo FC and Monagas SC, which will be played in the month of April.
