The National Risk Management System, through the Caracas Fire Department, responded to a collision between several vehicles, which occurred in the parish of El Recreo, Andrés Bello Avenue, Mariperez, adjacent to the service station.
The information was released by the general commander of the Caracas Fire Department, Pablo Palacios, on his account on the social network Instagram, in which he explained that a heavy cargo transport vehicle was reported, which, presumably, its driver lost control and hit five cars (bus, jeep, sedan and two motorcycle units).
He noted that the accident also caused damage to part of the infrastructure of the service station (PDVSA), leaving three people without vital signs and several people injured.
Fire Department personnel carry out a thorough inspection of the accident and are being kept preventive on site.
Palacio stated that it was necessary to activate a Command Post called MariPérez for the effective administration of the resource.
He also said that other bodies such as the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), Civil Protection (PC) and the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) were present at the scene.
