Caracas firefighters attended the collapse of the perimeter wall in Petare

The Caracas Fire Department deployed an emergency operation in the El Hueco sector, Libertadores staircase, Petare parish in the Sucre municipality, after the collapse of a perimeter wall during the night of August 15.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the fall of the structure left the houses located in the alley incommunicado and caused the flooding of approximately 30 nearby buildings.

Officials carried out a technical inspection to assess site conditions and determine material damage, in addition to providing preventive guidance and safety measures to families in the area.

They also indicated that the incident did not leave people injured or fatalities. At the same time, they specified that prevention teams remain deployed to provide care and follow-up to affected families.
