Caracas Mayor's Office activated the Popular Self-Management Room of the Jorge Rodríguez Padre commune in Macarao

In a significant step towards strengthening the self-government system in the capital, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, announced the activation of the Popular Self-Management Room of the Jorge Rodríguez Padre commune, located in the Macarao parish.

In this regard, Meléndez explained that this achievement is part of the vision of governance guided by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, which promotes an effective fusion between popular, military and police forces.

He specified that the new Popular Self-Management Room represents an advance in the implementation of social cartography, a key tool for community development and participatory planning.

Meléndez highlighted the importance of this governance model, noting that “Caracas continues to strengthen thanks to the commitment and unity of its people, in perfect harmony with the policies of the National Government.”

He also called on communities to continue working together to consolidate this system that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the People.
