Caracas Mayor's Office announced the controlled demolition of the David Tower aerial tank

The mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez , announced the controlled demolition of the aerial
tank of the so-called Torre David, located in the parish of La Candelaria.
Through his Instagram account , Meléndez specified that teams
from the
Municipal Institute for Risk Management and Disaster Management inspected the area.
Therefore, “this is how the controlled
demolition of this structure is being prepared, which suffered the shearing of two of
its columns and which was left in a position of 45° due to the earthquakes of the past”.
