Caracas Mayor's Office attends to road incidents after Monday's rains

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the teams of the Mayor's Office are deployed to deal with incidents on the roads, after the heavy rain that occurred this Monday, August 12.

In his account on the social network Instagram, he specified that in the parishes of El Paraíso and Antímano, the teams of the Mayor's Office of Caracas are responding to emergencies on the roads, “on Páez Avenue in El Paraíso and in La Yaguara, acting quickly at the call of the communities.”

Also through his account on the social network Threads, Melénde z specified that “we are continuing with the 2024 Rain Plan, and in the face of the intense rainfall this Monday afternoon #12Ago in Caracas”

“In the Cristo Rey sector, Block 30, of the parish of 23 de Enero, incidents have been addressed on the roads, as well as work has been done to free up traffic on Sucre Avenue, Sucre parish, with equipment and specialized personnel,” he said.
