Caracas takes second place in the 2024 Oriente Sports Games

While Miranda's delegation, current monarch of the 2024 Eastern National Games, remains solid in first place with 30 gold medals ahead of its pursuers, Caracas climbed to second place, displacing Carabobo by a gold medal.
In the medal table this Tuesday, November 19, the Mirandinos have 77 golds, 57 silvers and 53 bronzes for a total of 187 medals; Caracas follows with 48-53-35 adding 136 and closing the Carabobo provisional podium with 47-39-44 and a total harvest of 130.
In the aquathlon competition in the super sprint category that took place this Tuesday, November 19 during the XXI National Sports Games East 2024, Alexis Nogales from Caracas won the gold medal with a time of 18:49, Santiago Figuera de Sucre came in second place with a time of 18:54 and Jehyson Villamizar de Táchira in third place with 19:11.
In the first phase of the women's competition, María Peralta from Lara state was the winner with a time of 21:58, followed by Abril Montilla from Portuguesa with 22:18 and closing the podium, Ana Sánchez de Táchira with 22:44.
