The Revolutionary People held a vigil to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the 2002 coup against Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, said the vice-president of Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernández.
The activity was held in the vicinity of Puente Llaguno, in Caracas, to commemorate the people's response to the destabilizing attempts of the right that caused the coup against Commander Hugo Chávez.
“Our loyalty is with the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro. We defend the country against the constant threat of the right wing. Those faces we've seen over the past 22 years are trying to promote violence. However, today we firmly say to them: They will not return! ”, said Fernández through the social network X.
He pointed out that the Youth of the PSUV and the people accompany the Bolivarian Government at this historic moment. “We have reflected and affirmed that, with the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, Venezuela has become a prosperous and peaceful country,” he said.
