Cardenales de Lara came one step closer to registering his name in the grand final of the 2024-2024 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) after beating Navegantes del Magallanes 4-3 at the Antonio Herrera Gutierrez stadium in Barquisimeto.

The twilight thrower Máximo Castillo (1-1), who worked 5.0 episodes with six hits admitted and three clean runs without strikeouts, won the victory. While Arnaldo Hernández was in charge of saving the game with 1.1 innings of work, he reached seven saves so far in the postseason.

For his part, Edwar Colina de la Nave bore the defeat.
