Cardenales remains in second place and Leones fights for classification (+Round Robin)

This Wednesday's Round Robin of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) left parity in the actions to get the space available to face the Tiburones de La Guaira in the Grand Final.

Cardenales de Lara defeated the qualifiers 7-2 at the Antonio Herrera Gutierrez Stadium to remain in second place alone.

Meanwhile, the Caracas Lions won a vital victory at the Monumental Stadium, winning 4 races by 2 against the Tigres de Aragua, who saw the possibility of qualifying slip away.

With this victory, Leones leaves his record at 6-7, remaining in third place in the table. Tigres is 4-9 and with Lara's victory in the other game of the day, they become the first team eliminated from this Round Robin.

Cardenales leaves his record at 7-6, keeping second place in the table with a game ahead of Leones. Tiburones, who already secured first place, is 10-3.
