Cardinals from Lara and Caribes de Anzoátegui from the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), agreed to a change of players.

The receiver Tomas Telis joined the Barquisimethane team and the Eastern club won Leonel Valera, as both clubs reported on their social networks.

Telis can also defend first and second base and act as a designated hitter. He has played 10 seasons in Venezuela with Navegantes del Magallanes (2013-2016) and Caribes (2016-2024), the LVBP press reported.

For her part, Valera has eight years of experience in the Minor Leagues and two in the LVBP.

A 25-year-old native of Barinas, he comes from batting for .333 with the Lara Cardinals in 2023-2024. In 75 rounds, spread over 23 games, he accumulated 25 undisputed games, nine RBIs and 11 scored in his second campaign in the LVBP.
