Carmen Meléndez: These Carnivals are for the family

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, stressed that these Carnivals 2026 are to be shared with loved ones.
“We do everything for the people, these Carnivals belong to the family,” he emphasized from Paseo de los Proceres.
In this regard, he specified that the operation has recreational spaces in more than 40 parts of the capital city for the enjoyment of children and adolescents.
He recalled that the Day of Love and Friendship is also celebrated and that Venezuelans are people full of love and peace.
He stressed that every day there has been a battle for President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores to return to their homeland.
“We are peace and we will always bet on justice and we get tired of asking for the release of the president and the first lady,” he stressed.
