Carmen Meléndez: Today we commemorate a historic January 23rd

This Thursday, January 23, the mayor of the Libertador municipality of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, said, “all of Venezuela is on the streets protecting all its strategic facilities and today we commemorate a historic January 23, which we also pay tribute to Fabricio Ojeda. Today we continue with our exercises in defense of peace”

From the parish of 23 de Enero, in Caracas, during a floral offering in memory of Fabricio Ojeda, he specified that the People are deployed on instructions from the national president.

“Today here in Caracas, on a historic January 23rd, we are honoring Fabricio Ojeda . We continue with our exercises, 11 points of concentration and exercises to protect all of us who live in Caracas, for the defense of our homeland,” he said.

He assured that the Venezuelan people are willing to defend their territory, under any circumstances. “We are going to tell the world, here is Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, which is restricted, that here we are no one's colony and we are willing to defend our territory no matter what it costs us,” he said.
