Carmen Meléndez: Urban planning projects in Santa Teresa are 98% complete

The reconstruction works of the OPPPE 49 urban planning, in the parish of Santa Teresa, achieved 98% progress in the comprehensive rehabilitation of its two towers, affected by the double earthquake of last June 24, said the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, during an inspection carried out this Friday night.

I specify that the buildings, with 48 apartments each, house 96 families who will soon have their properties in optimal condition. The tasks are carried out by brigades of the Libertador Municipal Services Corporation together with the community, and include wall repair, replacement of masonry, electrical and sanitary installations, waterproofing and rehabilitation of elevators, as well as restoration work on the point and circle.

Meléndez highlighted the role of the city council as the executing entity of Plan Venezuela Renace.

“We are the executing body of Plan Venezuela Renace, and for this reason we have 170 active fronts in the 22 parishes of Caracas,” said the mayor.
