The Mayor of Caracas Carmen Meléndez said that with the great cultural takeover of this first of December, the fascists are showing that the people are on the street, at peace, quiet and happy.
“The People of Caracas kicked off this great cultural takeover with force, we woke up in Plaza Bolívar with a prayer with different religions, then Pacheco came down with the flowers from Galipán, to start this great festival,” he said.
The Mayor congratulated all the parishes of Caracas that attended with their best troupe, their best cultural manifestation and those who came from other regions of the country.
Meléndez emphasized that December is the best month of the year, the month of family union, of fellowship, of the arrival of the child Jesus, of the birth of Christ. “We will all be happy here, no one is going to take Christmas from us, here we Venezuelans are enjoying it,” he added.
“We tell our president Nicolás Maduro, here is your town on the street, your people that support you and that remain faithful,” he said.
He also assured that the Venezuelan people will continue to party in December, will follow it in January and then with the best naval cars.
