Cayapa Heroica recovered almost a hundred laboratory equipment at Unellez during 2025

In 2025, the Cayapa Heroica National Plan was deployed in the Portuguese state for the recovery of vital and strategic equipment, benefiting the population of the region.

During this year, the members of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out the approach, corrective maintenance and recovery of 84 laboratory equipment in the Vice-Rectorate for Agricultural Production of the National Experimental University of the Western Plains Ezequiel Zamora (Unellez), which had a positive impact on the student community.

In the same way, it provided a total of 24 technical assistance, which facilitated the repair and activation of equipment in various institutions, including popular clinics, hospitals, research centers and universities in the municipalities of Páez, Araure and Guanare, as well as providing collaboration in the state of Barinas.

According to a press release, among the approaches taken are the repair of electromedical equipment at the Casal Ramos Hospital and the remodeling of the “La 31" Dental Office where dental chairs were repaired.

In the educational field, assistance was provided to the Jacinto Lara School and the Center for Office Automation, Information and Telecommunications (Cebit) of the San Antonio Basic School, focusing on the repair of computer equipment.

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan also trained technicians in the maintenance of electromedical and dental equipment, as well as in the maintenance of X-ray equipment, thus strengthening the technical capacity of health personnel in the region.
