CELARG opens pre-registrations for doctorate and master's degrees in New American Studies

The Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American and
Caribbean Studies (CELARG) opened pre-registrations for the
National Program for Advanced Training in Our American Studies, from a liberating and decolonizing perspective.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, this postgraduate academic initiative seeks to train
researchers, teachers and professionals who are highly trained to
critically and profoundly analyze the complex socio-political and cultural realities
of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The studies have four lines of
research: Our American Critical Thinking, Cultural Studies,
Geopolitics and Power Blocks, Social Movements, Conflict and Democracy, as
well as Challenges of the Unity of Our America.
Those interested in applying must have
the following requirements: university degree and a preliminary
research project related to Latin American and Caribbean studies.
In addition, the Pre-Registration form is available on CELARG
's social networks.
In the case of candidates without a
master's degree, their professional achievements and their
ability to carry out research at the doctoral level will be valued in a particular way.
