As part of the celebration of National Artist's Day, the National Book Center (CENAL) presented to young students in general secondary education from the José Ignacio Cabrujas Educational Unit, copies of the “25 for 25” Collection, published by the Fund for Economic Culture of Mexico (FCE).
The Deputy Minister of Culture and president of
CENAL, Raúl Cazal, said that it is a literature that will allow
young people to venture into a whole world that will make them much freer, “and that
freedom was always very pending in our president Nicolás Maduro, today
kidnapped by an empire, the most vile of all empires, and that is why he
stops thinking about literature and books”.
The activity carried out with girls, boys and
young people showed various artistic manifestations, including
literature, which served as vehicles to convey to the world that Venezuela
is a nation of peace that cries out for the return of its president Nicolás Maduro and the first lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped by
the United States.
The free distribution of the “25 for 25” Collection in Venezuela, the product of an agreement signed in October 2025 between the FCE and the Ministry for Culture, represented by CENAL and Monte Ávila Editores Latinoamericana, began last December 17 in Caracas hand in hand with President Nicolás Maduro, as part of a continental publishing launch in conjunction with Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and Uruguay.
