CENAL published a book with the winning works of the Teresa de la Parra Competition

During 2025, the first Teresa de la Parra National Youth Literature Competition was successfully held, promoted by the National Book Center (CENAL), and as part of the prize, a book was published with the 42 winning works of the 220 manuscripts submitted from different states of the country, in the categories letters, stories and essays.

The publication was presented in the Popular and Communal Self-Government Room of the Herederos de Guaicaipura commune, in Charallave, with the participation of the young winners of the Miranda state contest.

In this entity, Divianny Veramendez, Frangelis Sánchez and Vanessa Leal, students of the Carmen Ruiz State Educational Unit, from Charallave, were the winners.

The presentation of the book was given by CENAL 's Strategy Manager, Yris Villamizar, and the Secretary of Youth of the Government of Miranda, César Patiño.

Also participating were Niyelsy Núñez and Jania Romero, heads of the vertices We are going to have fun, at the national level, and We are going to communicate, in the state of Miranda, of the Great Young Venezuela Mission; the coordinating secretary for Good Living and Social Protection of Miranda, Mayerling Oropeza; and Leonardo Cádiz, teacher and promoter of reading in the municipality of Cristóbal Rojas.
