Centro de Arte Lía Bermúdez began a vacation plan with creative workshops for children in Maracaibo

The Maracaibo Lía Bermúdez Art Center began its vacation plan aimed at boys and girls aged 7 to 13, with a program of artistic and training workshops that will run until September.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the proposal includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, plasticine modeling, clay work and chess, in days from 8:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.

The president of the institution, Ionesco Troconis, explained that the program seeks to combine recreation and learning. “We don't want it to be just a space to play, but rather for children to take real learning home,” he said.

As part of the program, participants take guided tours of the exhibition halls, where they learn about works such as Jesús Soto's Penetrable, before joining spaces dedicated to artistic creation. In addition, the activities also extend to Plaza Baralt, where children develop artistic interventions and participate in proposals together with their parents and representatives.

The vacation plan is developed after the rehabilitation work carried out at the center by the Government of Zulia, which included maintenance, conditioning and lighting of the exhibition and children's areas.
