Chancellor Gil: April will always be a time of national reflection and strengthening of revolutionary consciousness

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, highlighted the civic-military union of April 11, 2002, when the right wing carried out a coup against Commander Hugo Chávez.

Through his account on the social network X, the chancellor specified that the united people, with love and conscience, defeated them and saved democracy.

“The failed coup against Commander Hugo Chávez on April 11, 2002 is part of the collective memory of the entire country. It is a reminder of when the oligarchy and the anti-democratic press demonstrated their fascism and of how a united people, with love and conscience, defeated them and saved democracy. April will always be a time of national reflection and strengthening of revolutionary consciousness, as well as the need to preserve unity, peace and continue fighting for the future we have dreamed of.”
