The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, rejected the diplomatic ruse of the de facto government of Daniel Noboa, who after clinging to power in Ecuador through a rigged electoral process that has been denounced as fraudulent, tries to blame Venezuela for irregularities in this recent electoral act.
“Now it turns out that, in the face of the complaints that have exposed the rottenness of the mafia that seeks to run Ecuador, the same one that steals democracy, persecutes the people and sells sovereignty to the highest bidder, they come up with this sad and laughable statement to divert attention,” Gil wrote on his account on the social network Telegram.
He added that this “Nazi government, traitor to the legacy of El Libertador Simón Bolívar, of the immense example of Manuelita Sáenz, of the honor of Marshal Sucre and of the admirable General Eloy Alfaro, is today creeping up against a mafia that promotes fascism and political persecution. What a level of decay!”
“They want us to believe that their electoral failure, their moral defeat, can be covered up by these diplomatic lies. No, gentlemen! The world already sees them for what they are: an illegitimate, gangster and lying government. This statement is so crude, so poorly armed, that it seems written by a frustrated screenwriter. If at least they told good stories... But it doesn't work for them,” said the Venezuelan diplomat.
