The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, stressed this Monday that, despite aggressions by the Government of the United States (USA) and its allies, Venezuela is currently the country with the greatest stability in Latin America.

During his participation in the High-Level Segment of the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN), in Geneva, the foreign minister indicated that “Venezuela has resisted and has won”, after the imposition of more than a thousand unilateral coercive measures.

“They blocked our accounts, stole our resources, tried to impose puppet governments, staged coups, carried out attacks, financed mercenary invasions. None of that worked,” emphasized the head of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, stressing that the country's economy is growing, even under siege, as has been evidenced in the last three years with sustained growth, and “all projections indicate that in 2025 Venezuela will be the fastest growing economy in Latin America.”

“But the most important thing is not the numbers, but the political and social victory of our people. Venezuela is today the country with the greatest stability in the region. While in other nations fascism disguises itself as democracy to impose chaos on other nations, in Venezuela popular power remains firm, institutionality is strong and revolutionary leadership is progressing at a safe pace,” stressed the Venezuelan diplomat.
