Chancellor Gil: Josep Borrell tries to encourage a false government and will once again be defeated

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, assured this Monday, August 12, that the representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, “has defeat painted on his forehead”, after he expressed his support for the former presidential candidate, Edmundo González.

Through a message posted on his Instagram account, Gil showed the message posted on social networks by Borrell, who wrote: “In conversation with Edmundo González, I reaffirmed the position of the EU: publication and verification of minutes, an end to repression and the need for dialogue”.

In this context, the Venezuelan foreign minister recalled when Borrell expressed his support for the opposition Juan Guaidó and assured that “a safe Guaidó 2.0 will be much more disastrous for those who venture in that direction.”

“Mr. Borrel failed once when he tried to encourage a false government in Venezuela, this time he has defeat painted on his forehead again,” he said.

He said that “the garbage dump of history has a place reserved for him, we are sure of that”.
