At the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, the designated
ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the
Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, presented the Style
Copies to the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs,
Yván Gil, as part of the process corresponding to her diplomatic accreditation.
Through his account on the social network X, the
Venezuelan Foreign Minister pointed out that this event marks “a milestone in the
re-establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations”, thus “reinforcing bilateral ties and
the friendship that unites our peoples.”
He stressed that “Brazil, as a member of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), today
consolidates itself as a crucial ally of all peoples fighting for the
construction of a multipolar world”.
The Brazilian diplomat arrived in Caracas on Friday,
February 16, after Venezuela granted her an
agrément last November to occupy the position of Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Brazil to the South American nation.
