Chancellor Gil: The international community has confirmed that the attack on Venezuela was an act contrary to international law

The popular power minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, asserted that “the international community recorded that the attack carried out on January 3 was an act contrary to international law.”
On his telegram channel, he wrote “once again, the truth broke through the Security Council when Venezuela won a clear and legitimate victory: the international community recorded that the attack carried out on January 3 was an act contrary to international law, violating the Charter of the United Nations, humanitarian law and human rights, and a direct aggression against the immunity of an acting Head of State ”.
In this regard, he stated that “there was no room for manipulation or for double standards. The law assisted Venezuela. And Venezuela, with the moral and legal authority conferred on it by history, will continue to defend its sovereignty and guarantee the peace of its territory, the living heritage of Simon Bolivar.”
