This Friday, October 10, Venezuela filed a complaint with the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) regarding the actions and warmongering rhetoric of the United States, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, highlighted in his account on the social network Telegram.

In the message, he stated that “after carrying out extrajudicial murders in the Caribbean Sea under the pretext of combating drug trafficking, he now seeks to carry out an armed attack against our sovereign Homeland.”

In that regard, he specified that “we have urged the Security Council to adopt the necessary measures to prevent an international crime motivated by the greed of the United States for Venezuelan oil.”

In his publication, Gil attached a video, in which the ambassador and permanent representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the UN, Samuel Moncada, during his speech, proposed three concrete actions that must be considered by the international organization.
