The Cristóbal Rojas municipality has activated a special care plan since the two earthquakes occurred on June 24, in order to protect the families of Charallave and victims of the state of La Guaira, who have been welcomed into the jurisdiction.

In this regard, it became known that Mayor Yuhismar Hernández activated the Emergency Operations Committee, which offers health days, psychological care, Christian brigades, delivery of supplies, rehabilitation of housing and inspection of school infrastructure.

The center is based in Los Samanes, which also functions as a collection center. From this point on, humanitarian aid has been sent to families in La Guaira.

On the other hand, the establishment of a shelter was authorized at the Ezequiel Zamora Socialist Training Center, which will receive 160 families from the entity most affected by the natural event.
