Children from Apureño are trained in robotics with the Little Engineers kit

The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the state of Apure organized a learning day aimed at awakening the scientific curiosity of girls, boys and young people in the entity, for three consecutive days, through the use of the Little Engineers kit, designed to dynamically introduce concepts of technology and applied sciences.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the meeting brought together students from the Daniel O'Leary, Vuelvan Caras, Alirio Goitía and the Miguelina Sandoval Private School, located at the point and circle of the Próceres de los Llanos Commune, San Fernando parish, municipality of the same name in the state of Apure.

Through group dynamics and practical exercises, the participants explored the fascinating world of robotics, strengthening their methodological capacities and stimulating logical-mathematical thinking from an early age.

The initiative combined theory and practice through the interdisciplinary approach of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, allowing children to assemble their first prototypes and solve logical challenges.

This methodology seeks to transform the traditional classroom into a space where experimentation and teamwork are the engines of discovery and creativity.
