China demanded the cessation of aggression by Israel against the People of Gaza

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, through its spokesperson Guo Jiakun, expressed its deep dismay and condemnation at the Israeli attack on the Nasser Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip, which left at least 5 dead and demanded that Israel immediately cease its military operations in the region.

Guo Jiakun, speaking to the press, said that China is “shocked and condemns the tragic death of medical personnel and journalists” in the conflict.

The attack, specifically aimed at the Nasser Hospital in Gaza, resulted in the death of 20 people, including five journalists.

The government of the Asian giant said it is “deeply concerned about the current situation in the Gaza Strip” and opposes and condemns “all acts that harm civilians, damage civilian facilities and violate international law”, including violence against journalists.
