China launched a new experimental communication technology satellite into orbit

This Friday, China successfully launched an experimental communication technology satellite into orbit that took off from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Center, located in the southern island province of Hainan.

 

The satellite was launched at 19:30 (Beijing time) by a Long March-5 Y7 carrier rocket and successfully entered the planned orbit and will be used primarily for experiments in multiband and high-speed communication technology.

 

It should be noted that this launch marks the 509th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets.
