China reaffirms its support for a multipolar world

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Guo Jiankun, stressed his support for multipolarity as a strength of this global movement for the new multipolar order with a growing trend worldwide.

According to the spokesperson, a report from the Munich Security Conference reflects the increase in international acceptance of multipolarity. “We believe that this is a fundamental trend in today's world and an irreversible change,” he said.

According to Guo, China promotes a model of inclusive economic globalization and an organized and balanced multipolarity. The nation reaffirmed its genuine commitment to the democratization of international relations and the promotion of global cooperation under the principles of the United Nations Charter.

The spokesman stressed that Beijing contributes significantly to global economic growth, with an annual share of approximately 30 percent in global economic growth. He also said that the country is willing to work with others to face global challenges, promote development and ensure stability at the global level.

It was announced that the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, will tour the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, the United States (UN) and South Africa from February 12 to 21 and in Germany he will participate in the 61st Munich Security Conference, where he will speak at the forum dedicated to the Asian country.
