This Wednesday, the People's Republic of China rejected the forced displacement of the population of the Gaza Strip, in response to the intention of US President Donald Trump to empty the Palestinian territory of its inhabitants to relocate them to other countries.
“Gaza belongs to the Palestinians, and it forms an integral part of Palestinian territory,” Guo Jiakun, a spokesman for the Asian giant's Foreign Ministry, said at a press conference.
The official stressed that they are opposed to the forced displacement of the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, devastated by more than 15 months of war between the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas and Israel.
Trump proposed that the United States take control of the Gaza Strip and that its population be relocated to other countries in the region, such as Egypt and Jordan.
