During the radio space Let's Talk About Prevention, which is broadcast by MIJP Radio Multimedia, the head of the Computer Expertise Division of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Pascual González, explained that the detective body has the educational projects School Cybersecurity and Digital Seedbed, which will be developed in schools and communities to promote digital security measures to the most little ones in the house.
He stressed that, given the weaknesses present in the internet, which are exploited by cybercriminals, the detective body promotes the educational initiative School Cybersecurity, so that girls, boys, young people, mothers, fathers, representatives and teachers know how to use cyberspace properly and are not victims of cybercriminals.
He also indicated that the Digital Semillero preventive program is a way of uniting communication between mothers, fathers, representatives and their respective daughters and sons, to prevent any adult with pernicious intentions from affecting our nation's child population.
“This Digital Semillero program has the greatness of not only being dedicated exclusively to young people between the ages of six and 18, but also of bringing this process to teachers, so that they can carry out activities within schools,” he said.
He added that the digital guardians of the Crime Prevention Division of the CICPC will follow up on both preventive plans to consolidate the protection that the child population deserves and expand this initiative in the national territory.
“Technology is simply a tool that allows us to get closer and have knowledge, but we must give it its rightful place,” he said.
