CICPC reinforces road safety in Caracas with comprehensive crime prevention day

As part of the Carnavales Seguros 2026 device and in an effort to reduce road accident rates, to promote a culture of citizen responsibility, the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), held a new day of the “Use Your Helmet” campaign in Redoma La India, El Paraíso parish, Caracas.
The initiative was led by the general secretary, C/G Mercy Bracho, accompanied by the deputy of the Criminal Investigation Unit, C/G Jonni Andrade and the directors of Vehicle Theft and Theft Investigations of the CICPC, general commissioners Felicia Quezada and Ramón Duque.
The activity was accompanied by the Bera Motos team, who, in perfect coordination, delivered maximum protection helmets to motorized vehicles in the area, as well as the destruction of the Sandoval type helmet, allowing the beneficiaries to receive “in situ” road education on the impact of collisions and the importance of visibility and preventive maintenance of motorcycles.
This meeting, held together with the entire team of the Comprehensive Crime Prevention Division, the Directorate of Vehicles and Capital District, served to sensitize the motorized guild about compliance with traffic regulations as a fundamental tool for the preservation of life.
During the deployment, informative talks were offered on the prevention of crimes associated with the transport sector and the correct use of protective equipment.
