Cinemateca Nacional will offer a seminar in honor of Margot Benacerraf's centenary

From August 12 to 14, the National Cinemateca will hold a seminar dedicated to the centenary of Margot Benacerraf, with a series of films, talks and presentations at the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the activities will begin every day at 2:00 p.m., and will bring together specialists and researchers to discuss Benacerraf's trajectory and contribution to Venezuelan culture and national cinema.

The program will include the screening of his documentaries Reverón and Araya, as well as other audiovisual productions dedicated to his life and work.

The meeting is also part of the commemoration of 60 years of institutional history of the National Cinematheque and will be aimed at researchers, students, film professionals, social science specialists and the public interested in Venezuelan cinematography.
