Civil Protection monitors the overflow of streams in Lara

The director of Civil Protection (PC) in Lara state, Luis Mujica, led a supervisory deployment in the municipality of Palavecino, in the community of La Montaña, El Placer after the overflow of streams due to recent heavy rainfall.

“Inspections and evaluations were carried out in the area, where it was verified that there are no damages to housing or damage to people,” Mujica reported.

“However, there are temporary road effects, such as the removal of sediment and some plant material, where construction crews from both the mayor's office and the government of Lara are already doing the same and the area is no longer new,” Mujica continued.

Regional and municipal authorities remain on alert, and in constant monitoring, of water channels to ensure the mobility and safety of the inhabitants of each sector of the state of Lara.
