The National Autonomous Cinematography Center (CNAC)
began the national route aimed at knowing first-hand the
needs of local filmmakers and advancing the construction of public
policies that strengthen film production in the regions of the country.
In this regard, the president of the CNAC, Román Chamorro, held a
meeting with representatives of the audiovisual sector of the state of Carabobo, in
which they discussed proposals related to the support of festivals, the
funding of projects and the strengthening of training programs, reports the Ministry for Culture.
Chamorro
highlighted the importance of Carabobo within the
national film ecosystem, highlighting its productive activity, the holding of festivals and the training of new talent.
The
meeting brought together cultural authorities, festival representatives, film
schools, as well as directors, technicians and exhibitors, who
agreed on the need to consolidate a joint agenda for the
development of the sector.
With this initiative, the CNAC is advancing its policy of coordination with
the country's creators to strengthen Venezuelan cinema from the territories
