CNE announces Nicolás Maduro as winner with 5 million 150 thousand 092 votes

This Sunday, July 29, the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, announced as the winner the candidate for the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP), Nicolás Maduro, with 5 million 150 thousand 092 votes (51.20%).

He also explained that the candidate for the Bureau of Unity and a New Time, Edmundo Gonzáles, obtained 4 million 445 thousand votes (44.2%); while the other candidates accumulated 462,704 (4.6%).

He stressed that this result is issued with 80% of the transmission of votes and polls counted and are irreversible. At the same time, he indicated that 59% of the electoral roll participated in this electoral process.

On the other hand, he extended his gratitude to the international observers who accompanied the electoral process.
