CNE Board of Directors declared itself in permanent session to evaluate proposed electoral schedule for 2025

The board of directors of the National Electoral Council (CNE) convened a permanent session to evaluate the proposals for the schedule for the elections scheduled for 2025, which was submitted by a commission from the National Assembly to the Commons.
This was revealed by the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, who indicated that the CNE board, during the session, will evaluate the document given to him and “the full year to try to approximate electoral schedules”.
It is important to remember that, by 2025, it is estimated that, in accordance with the constitution and laws, nine elections will be held in the country.
In this regard, the Legislative Branch constituted a commission to develop a series of electoral schedule proposals, which were recorded in a document that was delivered to the board of directors of the Electoral Power.
