CNE: Carmen Meléndez was re-elected mayor of Caracas with irreversible results

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, when offering the results with irreversible trends in the 2025 Municipal Elections, held this Sunday, the 27th, reported that in the Libertador municipality of Caracas, with 94.78% participation, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the candidate Carmen Meléndez won, with 350,995 votes.

This was announced at a press conference from the headquarters of the electoral body, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, when it offered the first bulletin of the results of the Municipal Elections 2025 and the first National Youth Consultation.

Also, in Greater Caracas in the Sucre municipality: United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diógenes Lara 86.02%.

On the other hand, in the Chacao municipality: Neighborhood Force Party, Gustavo Duque 94.28%; in the Baruta municipality: Neighborhood Force Party, Darwin González 99.39%; in the municipality El Hatillo: Ecological Movement Party of Venezuela (MOVEV), Malena Fernando 97.37%.
