This Sunday, the National Electoral Council (CNE) carried out a pre-dispatch audit of the voting system ahead of the presidential elections on July 28.
According to a CNE press release, with the pre-office audit, the voting, counting, transmission and totalization process is simulated, in order to verify the accuracy of the voter's intention to vote with what is printed on the voucher.
In addition to the CNE authorities, the Panel of Electoral Experts of the United Nations (UN), the Exploratory Mission of the Carter Center and the technicians of the different Organizations for Political Purposes (OFP) participated in this activity.
During the day, the president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, informed the country that both the pre-office audit and each of the previous audits have been a total success and recalled that, in each of them, representatives of all political parties have attended, so it has been demonstrated that the system is fully shielded, no matter how much a small group tries to discredit, the great work that has been done by the Electoral Power.
In addition, the highest electoral authority invited all Venezuelans to trust in the best electoral system in the world, this coming July 28.
