CNE categorically rejects impertinent statements by President Donald Trump against the country

The Electoral Power, National Electoral Council (CNE), this Wednesday, December 17, issued a statement categorically rejecting the impertinent statements of the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

In the letter, the CNE emphasizes that it absolutely rejects the threats of North American imperialism “to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, intending to impose a naval blockade on all oil tankers entering or leaving the national territory, once again violating international law”.

He stresses that “in the face of the new threat of the North American empire, the Venezuelan people will continue to fulfill their duty to honor and defend the homeland”.
