CNE proclaimed Nicolás Maduro as president for the period 2025-2031

The National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed Nicolás Maduro as the president of the Republic for the period 2025-2031.

During the ceremony held at the headquarters of the CNE, the president of the electoral body, Elvis Amoroso, recognized the results of the vote that took place on July 28 and invited the Head of State for a new term at the head of the country.

In addition, Amoroso congratulated the democratic spirit of the Venezuelan people, who, massively, went to the voting centers to express themselves. “The election took place calmly, in peace and in respect,” he said.

In the same way, the president of the Electoral Power thanked the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the international observers who actively participated in this electoral process.
