CNT will return to the stage with the play “If I told you”

This coming Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, 16, the National Theater Company (CNT) will return to the stage with the play “If I Tell You” in the Anna Julia Rojas Room, of the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE).

According to information from the Ministry for Culture, in this play directed by William Cuao, the following CNT actors will participate in the staging: Irabé Seguías, Eduvina Soto, Sofía Carreño, Johana Rojas, Francis Briceño, Martín Astudillo and Gerardo Ávila.

“If I Tell You” premiered successfully last year and is a compendium of several stories that take the spectator on a journey of emotions through stories, music and national geography, with a magical management of scenic resources.

The stories that make up the work are “Colorín Colorado” and “Mirror Tricks”, by Luis Britto García; “Olivia Torres Tells Her Life”, by Olivia Torres; “When I Grow Up”, by Arturo Uslar Pietri; “How to kiss a toad?” , by Mireya Tabuas; “The Madwoman's Daughter”, by Andrés Cañizales; “What an anguish!” , by Carolina Álvarez, and “La Perolata del cuckold”, of anonymous authorship.

In that sense, the CNT extended the invitation for them to attend and enjoy this work in which they will enjoy great scenic and literary beauty. Tickets can be purchased at a cost of 300 bolivars before each performance.
